Job Purpose:
Bidvest International Logistics welcomes applications from unemployed youth, including Persons with Disabilities (PWD), to engage in the learnership programme. This opportunity is a gateway to acquiring experience and qualifications in the Freight and Logistics industry. With our national offices located in Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape, this 12-month programme is a registered qualification through TETA (Transport Education and Training Authority). Over the years, BIL has proudly facilitated logistics sector-based learnerships, contributing to the graduation of numerous learners. Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 senior certificate or equivalent
- Must be a South African citizen
- Age range: 18 to 35 years
- Full-time commitment for 12 months
- Avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry
Skills and Competencies:
- Self-reliance
- Determination and commitment
- Accountability and responsibility for self-management, including stipend and studies
- Professional conduct within BIL’s corporate environment: appearance, behavior, and communication
- Basic computer literacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Dedication to a 12-month Learnership program encompassing theoretical and practical components across 3 divisions
- Completion of all modules on the BIL eLearning Platform
- Compilation and submission of a portfolio of evidence upon qualification completion
