JOB SUMMARY

This apprenticeship aims to support the GMP compliant manufacture of pharmaceutical products by ensuring the maximum online time of process Utility services supplied to Manufacturing. The selected individuals will have the opportunity to learn and perform routine maintenance on machines, conduct daily checks on machines and their support services, evaluate and facilitate repairs of plant equipment, assist in projects associated with new plant and equipment, provide cross-functional support, create spares inventory, make wiring diagrams, complete training needs to obtain qualification, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Apprentices will learn the necessary skills to ensure the continued operation of plant equipment. This includes assisting in performing routine checks of equipment and systems, scheduling maintenance activities based on preventative maintenance plans, facilitating calibration of instruments, maintaining records and schedules for specific equipment, analyzing problems and determining required maintenance/repair work, liaising with third-party contractors for off-site repairs, tracking and reporting progress of required repairs, coordinating maintenance activities on NBI equipment, conducting routine stock takes of spares, participating in commissioning unit operations, supporting validation studies, capacity expansion projects, continuous process improvements, supervising contractors, implementing SAP change notifications, and engaging in hands-on work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess an N6 or S4 electrical engineering qualification.
