Job Description for SACAA LICENSING OFFICER
Operations Management Responsibilities
- Receive and meticulously validate licenses for adherence to the specified issue and re-issue terms as per SACAR’s and CATS guidelines.
- Ensure seamless processing, verification, and timely dispatch of all applications.
Customer Interaction
- Exhibit a professional and positive demeanor while engaging with clients.
- Swiftly address telephonic, postal, and courier applications by promptly contacting clients upon document receipt.
Document Management
- Establish and oversee a systematic document tracking process, monitored by assigned personnel.
- Scrutinize received documents for accuracy, attaching requisite checklists.
- Invoice and issue documents, following prescribed procedures, and ensure their correct direction to clients.
Financial Procedures
- Verify that clients are appropriately invoiced and have settled the specified fee as per Part 187 requirements.
Training and Mentorship
- Facilitate comprehensive training for newly appointed Licensing Officers, equipping them with necessary competencies in alignment with their key performance areas.
Review and Enhancements
- Maintain an up-to-date ISO system, promptly administering and amending forms in compliance with ISO standards.

Minimum Required Qualification: Completion of Grade 12
Preferred Qualification: Relevant National Diploma
Minimum Experience: 2 years of aviation-related experience
