Johannesburg Social Housing Company SOC Limited (JOSHCO) extends an invitation to unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Internship Programme for the upcoming academic year.
Internship Details:
Position: Intern: Network Support
Employment Status: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Department: Information and Communications Technology
This program is meticulously designed to provide graduates with invaluable practical work experience. Interns will receive a monthly stipend for their participation.
About JOSHCO:
The Johannesburg Social Housing Company SOC Limited (JOSHCO) is entrusted with the mandate to develop and manage affordable rental housing for the lower market, integral to eradicating the housing backlog within the City of Johannesburg.
JOSHCO is a registered Social Housing Institution, accredited by the Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA).
JOSHCO welcomes suitably qualified graduates to apply for the internship programme.
Job Requirements:
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
- National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Routing & Switching Certification (Cisco, H3C, Huawei, etc) will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in networks, routing & switching, routing protocols, VPN solutions, high-availability network design and management.
- Familiarity with firewalls such as SOPHOS, H3C, Fortinet.
- Understanding of VOIP.
Additional Requirements:
- South African Citizenship.
- Residency within the City of Joburg (proof will be required).
- Age between 18-35 years.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
- Not participated in a similar programme previously.
- Immediate availability.
