AfriSam extends an invitation to South African students to seize the opportunity and apply for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary Details:
Bursaries will be granted to exceptional and high-achieving students, intending to pursue studies in the realm of Mechanical Engineering.
The bursary package encompasses coverage for the following expenses: tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, and an allowance for additional necessities.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the subsequent minimum entry criteria prior to application (please note that failure to meet all the stipulations will render your application ineligible):
- You must hold South African citizenship.
- You must be enrolled in or intending to enroll in a Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- You must be studying or planning to study at a recognized and accredited South African University.
- You must exhibit a commendable academic track record.
- You must have attained a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Preferably, you have passed Pure Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Preference will be granted to female students residing within the Dikgatlong Local Municipality (Northern Cape) and Historically Disadvantaged South Africans (HDSA).
Application Process:
Eligible students are invited to apply by submitting clear copies of the following essential documents (failure to submit these documents may lead to disqualification):
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of the most recent academic results
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Note: No formal application form needs to be completed. Students are only required to provide the listed documents for their application.
