United Manganese of Kalahari is a leading South African company empowered in manganese mining.
Job Purpose The program aims to empower candidates who wish to undergo training and development in open cast mining. You will expand your knowledge and benefit from on-the-job training in the Mining Department. The focus will be on acquiring the competencies needed to oversee safe and efficient blasting skills and other mining activities in an open cast environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Science.
- Applicants must be from the local communities.
- Demonstrate technical skills.
- Be disciplined and responsible.
- Positive attitude, dependable, ethical, and reliable.
- Declared medically fit for the role and meet the minimum fitness standards to work in a mining environment.
- Ability to demonstrate basic communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
- Willingness to work shifts and/or standby as required.
