Sappi presents an exciting opportunity for a career in engineering through our Apprentice training programme. We seek dynamic, self-motivated individuals with the necessary technical aptitude. Selected candidates will receive both institutional and work-based training to qualify as artisans within a span of 4 years.
About the Apprenticeship Our programme entails:
- Accredited training encompassing all essential elements required for artisan qualification.
- On-the-job experiential training under the guidance of engineering foremen and qualified artisans.
- Comprehensive workplace preparation training.
- Readiness for the trade test, including necessary preparation and examination, to achieve full artisan qualification.
Requirements The ideal candidate should possess:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12), preferably including Mathematics and Science.
- A minimum of four N1 engineering subjects.
