The Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme is a collaborative effort between businesses and the government. The primary objective of YES is to combat youth unemployment across both the private and public sectors.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the YES Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a Grade 12 qualification or an equivalent credential.
- Be available for employment under a 12-month Fixed-Term contract.
- Hold South African citizenship.
- Fall within the age bracket of 18 to 28 years.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Not have previously participated in the YES Programme.
- Not be enrolled in full-time studies during the year of intended employment.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
In addition to the aforementioned prerequisites, the selection of candidates will also take into account the following attributes:
- Proficiency in using personal computers (PC Literacy).
- An eagerness to acquire new skills pertinent to the Engineering and Architectural Industry.
- A strong attention to detail.
