The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) welcomes students to apply for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.

DALRRD is committed to awarding comprehensive bursaries to eligible applicants who are pursuing or intend to further their studies in designated careers within the agriculture, land reform, and rural development sector for the academic year 2024.
The bursary will cover tuition fees, accommodation, books, meals, and a monthly allowance. The bursaries are aimed at individuals from historically disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds, particularly those from impoverished rural communities. People with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Applicants must complete the relevant bursary application forms available from the website: www.dalrrd.gov.za (Click on vacancies).
- Applications for fields of study not listed above will not be considered.
- Communication will be limited to successful applicants only.
- If you haven’t received communication from the department within 14 days after Grade 12 results are released and after the National Bursary Committee has finalized the selection process, consider your application unsuccessful.
- DALRRD reserves the right to determine the total number of bursary allocations based on the available budget for the academic year.
- Late application forms will not be considered.

Applicants without their University acceptance letter or final results can submit their application while awaiting these documents.
